At Keystone Christian Academy we value early childhood education. We believe that children are gifts from God and that we should be intentional about their spiritual and academic training. We desire to partner with parents to provide children with the basic learning fundamentals that will prepare them for kindergarten and create the foundation for a life-long love for learning. Uniquely, KCA preschool exists as a part of a larger school system with a Biblical worldview. We anticipate how we want students to progress through their education and lay this foundation starting in preschool. The kindergarten teacher notes the difference in academic preparedness from students who have attended our preschool to those, who have not.
For the 2017-2018 school year, KCA is separating the preschool into two parts to better accommodate the development needs of these young minds. A younger preschool class for three and four year-olds will operate on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. A pre-kindergarten class for those, who will be starting kindergarten in the fall of 2018, will occur on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings. Both of these groups will be from 8:00 to noon and follow the broader academic calendar of KCA. Additionally, these classes are limited in size to 10 students per group.
