I grew up here in Norfolk. I attended Christ Lutheran School from Kindergarten through 8th grade. I then went on the Norfolk Senior High and graduated in 2005. Attending Christ Lutheran gave me the foundation by which I live my life. It was there that my decision to become a teacher transpired.

My passion for teaching is helping kids learn new things. When they are learning about new ideas, or the sounds a certain letter makes, or other things, and they ‘Get It!,’ I realize that I am making a difference in their lives. It makes me happy to see their excitement when they want to share their newfound knowledge with me.
I love being able to teach in an environment where I can openly express and share my faith in God with my students and to share with these young children about how much God loves all of us.
